Omokri wonders why Ruga settlement is more important to Buhari than building hospitals

The enormity of negative reactions trailing Buhari's ruga settlement scheme deemed as a solution to ending herdsmen mayhem in country, is enough proof that Nigerians especially folks from the south, are wary of northern antics and won't allow their region be subjected to the treatment meted to Nigerians living in the MiddleBelt.


As a matter of fact, the swift reaction by southern leaders to nip the proposed ruga settlement in the bud, sent a clear message that the southern part of the country now understands Buhari's body language which until recently, was taken lightly for political reasons. But Buhari seem confused or allowed himself be controlled to not realize that his government no longer has the trust of millions of Nigerians right from the day his administration murdered federal character.

The desperation of the Fulani tribe to have their way under the current government adds more weight to the assertion that the Fulani led government is very much up to something. So, like many others who until recently, had sat on the fence on claims of Islamization, ethnic cleansing among others, Reno Omokri said he is perplexed that Buhari's government is hell-bent on proceeding with the Ruga Settlement Scheme despite backlash from Nigerians who feel the Fulani ethnic group is attempting to exalt itself above other ethnicities in the country.

What would you make of a government which built no school nor hospitals to meet the educational needs of Nigerian children and mothers who die of complications during child birth, but will do all it takes to built settlements for Fulanis across all states of the federation? Well, neither Buhari nor does the cabals in charge of the presidency give a flinch what Nigerians think. They may as well decide to stay in power much longer until they finally achieve their goals if it really is this important. But this can only happen if the powers that be, are not humbled.
