Instead of wearing sackcloths and beg for forgiveness, APC looking for who to blame — Oyegun

Former APC national chairman, John Oyegun
Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Chief John Oyegun, has chided the National Working Committee of the party, saying that they should bury their heads in shame for losing states to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party PDP.

He said “instead of the party’s national leadership wearing sackcloth’s and apologize to members, they are busy looking for who to cast aspersions on”.

Speaking through his Adviser on Public Affairs, Chief Ray Murphy, Oyegun said that he does not want to join issues with those struggling to remain afloat after collecting bribes and creating confusion after the party primaries.

“The party leadership should rather bury their heads in shame for losing five states. Instead of wearing sackcloths to beg APC members to forgive them, they are busy looking for who to cast aspersions on,” he said.

Oshiomhole had earlier accused Oyegun of handing over a crisis ridden party to him.

But reacting, Oyegun dismissed the claim and said Oshiomhole was the architect of the crisis in the party, insisting his sucesssor conducted the most fraudulent party primary in the history of Nigerian party politics.
