Report has it that Boko Haram insurgents have killed at least six soldiers in an attack on a military base in Kareto, a community in Mobba local government area of Borno state.
According sources, the insurgents were said to have invaded the military formation on motorbikes and carried out the attack around 7pm on Thursday. TheCable reports
The incident is coming less than a month after a report that the insurgents killed 25 military personnel while they were evacuating people from some villages.
Recall that the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai has said that the Boko Haram terrorist group has been defeated by the Nigerian military and that they will never come again as Boko Haram’ again.
