It's been a month since Avengers: Endgame hits theaters across the world and currently sits second behind James Cameron's 2009 box office wrecking Avatar.

Just in case you're interested in the latest box office figures, Endgame has so far earned a global cume of $2.695bn as at May 29, with $806.6 million of these earnings coming from the United States and Canada, whilst $1.887 billion came from other territories.

While fans like myself still mourn the death of one of the MCU's most beloved character, Tony Stark, at the end of the film, it appears the one who seem affected the most is non other but Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man whose movie is due for release in July.

Peter was one of many who where dusted out of existence at the end of Avengers: Infinity War following Thanos' snap. He fought alongside Ironman and Doctor Strange from the very beginning, starting from Earth and ended in Titan where the only survivals were Tony himself, and Nebula.

After returning to earth from Titan with the help of Captain Marvel, Tony was reluctant to offer help when the idea of time travel was put to the table by the rest of the team. But the thought of losing Peter Parker and Stephen Strange who sacrificed the Time Stone to save him, where just about enough to make him reconsider.

Tony Stark died a hero to save Peter and half of universe's population who fell victim to Thanos' snap. So it is very natural for Peter who not only see Tony Stark as a mentor but also a father figure, to be traumatized by the fact that he lost someone really important.

It is believed that Spider-Man: Far From Home will deal with Spidey's life after the Endgame as he tries to recover from the aftermath of the previous film and the new reality before him. And from all the trailers we've seen so far, it appears that's likely what will happen once the film hits the giant screen in July.

The majority of the new trailer sees Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio, who is being set up as a potential ally to Spider-Man and Fury, talking to Peter about how hard it is to be a hero. He tells the young man that, even if you win the battles you're a part of, sometimes the people you're trying to protect will die anyway. At that moment, there's a shot of Peter looking at an Iron Man memorial, and it all hits home.

The loss of Tony Stark may come hard on Peter Parker as he struggles with life as a superhero, his death no doubt, will be very much a part of Spider-Man: Far From Home, influencing many of the decisions that Peter makes throughout the movie.
